Monday 5 October, 7pm to 9pm. Quatt Village Hall, ten minutes from Bridgnorth. £35 per person.
You have walked them. You have thrown the ball until your arm hurts. You get home, sit down, and within ten minutes they are back at your feet with that look.
So you assume they need another walk.
Most of the time, they do not.
What most dogs are short of is not exercise. It is something to think about. The sniffing, the searching, the chewing, the problem solving, all the things they are actually built to do. Give a dog those and you get a dog that settles properly, sleeps properly, and stops going looking for its own entertainment around your house.
That is what this evening is about.
This is a hands on workshop for dog owners. Two hours, a proper table each, and you leave with three enrichment activities you have made yourself, ready to give your dog the moment you get home.
It is not two hours of me at the front with a slideshow. Think of it more like a wreath making evening, except everything you make is for your dog.
This is an owners only evening. Please leave your dog at home.
That is deliberate. This is an evening for you. A chance to sit down with other local dog owners, have a drink, make something, ask the questions you have been meaning to ask, and actually enjoy the process without keeping one eye on your dog the whole time.
Yours to keep, included in your ticket. There will be a choice of reusable enrichment products on the table, LickMats, Yoggie Pots and others, so you can pick the one that suits your dog. I will bring a full selection of fillings and we will go through what works, what to avoid, how to freeze them, and how to make them harder or easier depending on your dog. You will fill and prepare your own to take away, and you will be able to use it again and again at home.
The best enrichment costs nothing. Snuffle boxes, towel games, cardboard, treat parcels, muffin tin games, simple scent work. I will show you several, then you make one of your own to take home, and you will know how to build the rest from things already in your kitchen.
Everyone gets a natural chew, a trachea or a cow hoof, and we will look at how to turn it into something that lasts rather than something the dog finishes in ninety seconds. You prepare your own and take it with you.
The teaching runs through the making rather than sitting in one lump at the start. By the end of the evening you will understand:
You will leave knowing how to make your dog’s ordinary day more interesting. Not feeling like you have to entertain them from morning until night.
7:00 Arrive, drink in hand, introductions and what enrichment actually is
7:15 Licking and food enrichment. Choose and prepare your reusable enrichment item
7:40 DIY enrichment. Make your own to take home
8:05 Natural chewing. Prepare your chew
8:30 Enrichment beyond food. Walks, choice, problem solving, rest
8:45 Questions, chat, and pack up your three activities
Any dog owner who has ever thought their dog is hard work in the evenings, or wondered whether more walking is really the answer, or just wants to do a bit better by their dog without it taking over their life.
You do not need to have trained with me. You do not need to know anything about enrichment. Come on your own or bring a friend, there will be plenty of people there who do not know anyone either.

Hi, I’m Emily, and I run The Bridgnorth Dog Club.
I have spent years helping local owners get from stressed and stuck to actually enjoying their dogs, and one of the things that comes up again and again is how much difference this stuff makes. Not the training, not the walks. Just giving a dog something to think about.
It is also going to be a really nice evening. Good company, something to make, and a bit of time for you.
Book your place below. If you have any questions at all, message me on WhatsApp.
I am a certified dog trainer and help owners like you turn things around so you can actually enjoy life with your dog again.
